Missions

Missions are very important and they differ from server to server. As u notice, you can access 4 tabs under this component.

Daily, Weekly, Monthly

“Hey! Why u didnt start from the Mission level tab since that one is the first one in the order”. Oh, let me explain, dear reader. First lets dive into Daily and read each daily mission. Every daily mission gives nice rewards that will give you resources, craft material and special “Mission points”. And if you have a look at the image above with the progress bar, mission points are exactly the one that are filling this bar in Mission level. Weakly missions have them too!

I highly recommend read through each quest, check rewards and finish those missions that matters for you. Typically for a newbie player, I highly recommend doing ALL possible missions that games has to offer.

Mission Level

You have 30 levels to reach and each day you can fill up the bar with special mission points. Usually the final 30th reward is pretty nice for a newbie player so I highly recommend checking if your daily effort is worth it.

After you reach 30th level, you get bonus rewards - usually XP scrolls, which are very important!

One time

You get this reward with almost each level or with one time actions like leveling up attributes. It is something you cannot hurry up! What I can tell you - from lvl 90, one time rewards are very nice!

Gift Calendar

Not just missions give very nice rewards. There is a special event calendar, which is (unfortunately) not every month. As well - each server has even calendar’s rewards adjusted based on server’s progress and setup.

An important question might be - “What happens if I miss one or two days”? No worries. First, rarely the Event Calendar is available for 28 days. So usually you have 1-2 weeks more to claim it. But, in case you dont have time, each missed rewards will cost you 100lcoins no matter the server. On Samurai, Eva and Sienna - > its 100lcoins.

Quests

The Quest tab will be probably the first thing that will pop up on you when u log into the game for the first time. This is nothing complicated really - just follow the guide and enjoy super fast exp up to lvl 80! It is important to say that quest have level breaks - meaning, if you finish all quests and you are lvl 80, you can continue when you hit lvl 81. The quest dialog window itself is described in Part 3 of this series.

Another important and FAQ is - can I make these main quests in party? Sadly, the answer is for most of the time no. Most of the time these main exp quests must be done solo/last hit. Pro tip - if you struggle somewhere, you can always create Shillien Elder who can heal you, but be careful, if the difference is 9 levels, you get no exp from monsters and if the difference between you and your healer is more than 14, you get no adena!

Macro

If you are coming from an unofficial server, the chance you were using Macro the old way is high probability. Unfortunately, commands are no longer supported like /target player /useskillforce and so on. This is a prevention against pvp abuse and other “cheating”. So I would say - you will rarely find any reason to use Macro in the current version of Lineage 2.
